Job description / Role
• Exercise full control over the workforce on the site.
• Ensure that the work is executed in accordance with the contract drawing and specification, agreed procedures and method statements.
• Prepare necessary method statement, if required.
• Ensure that the Health & Safety rules and regulations are communicated to the work force and are fully enforced.
• Supervise site mobilization & demobilization for each & every activity under his control.
• Supervise, monitoring, and reporting of progress, cost and efficiency. Ensure that periodic reports are transmitted to the appropriate person.
• Administer sub-contract work and ensure purchase order and/or the sub-contract agreement requirement are followed.
• Conduct daily internal site meetings with site engineers and foreman to maintain past, present, and assess’ future performance requirement.
• Responsible for site surveying and setting out dimensional control.
• Monitor all sub-contractor work closely to ensure that the quality of the work is as per specification and is completed on time.
• Complete all necessary Q.A / Q.C documentation related to the work under his direct control and co-ordinate daily site inspection, if required.
• Responsible for general site management.
• Ensure that all information on drawings is conveyed to the workforce in a proper manner and details produced, where required.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 7 to 9 years of experience in contracting, construction or engineering industry
• Should have good knowledge of every aspects of civil works
• Good Communications skills
