Project Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Engineer to join our dynamic team in the facilities industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing and executing projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all objectives are met within scope, budget, and timeline. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders. As a Project Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of innovative facility solutions in the UAE market.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee facility projects from initial planning through to execution and completion, ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, while continuously monitoring progress and making adjustments as necessary.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that design specifications are executed accurately and that all work adheres to relevant codes and standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections and meetings to assess project progress, address any challenges, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Prepare and present project status reports, including updates on milestones, budget tracking, and risk management to stakeholders and senior management.
- Facilitate communication among project teams, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and address any issues or changes in project scope promptly.
- Assist in the procurement process by evaluating bids, negotiating contracts, and ensuring that all materials and services meet project specifications.
- Ensure that all project documentation is complete, accurate, and stored appropriately for future reference, including contracts, drawings, and correspondence.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development of best practices in project management within the organization.
- Support the development of project budgets and financial forecasts, monitoring expenditures to ensure projects remain within budget.

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project engineering or management within the facilities or construction industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a strong emphasis on meeting deadlines and budget constraints.
- Excellent understanding of construction processes, project management principles, and relevant regulations within the UAE.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, AutoCAD) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and quality assurance practices in facility management.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plus.
