Project Engineer

Job description / Role

Job Summary:
We are looking for a hands-on, experienced Project Engineer to lead the execution of our retrofit, replacement, and new installation service projects across our equipment portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end project execution for service jobs involving cooling towers, PHEs, valves, and piping systems.
• Plan and monitor project schedules, resources, and budgets using project management tools.
• Coordinate with internal teams, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth and timely project delivery.
• Conduct site assessments and supervise installation, commissioning, and handover activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards (DM, SEWA, Civil Defense, etc.).

Prepare and maintain project documentation such as WIRs, MIRs, daily reports, method statements, Job Method Statement, Job Safety Analysis, Verification of Lifting Plans/ Job Method Statement, Job Safety Analysis, Verification of Scaffolding/ Job Method Statement, Job Safety Analysis, Preparation of Rescue Plan. and handover documents.

• Submission of timely Invoice.
• Resolve on-site issues proactively and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Ensure work is progressing according to plan and quality standards.
• Resolve technical issues at site and ensure safety compliance.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.
• Support sales and estimation teams with technical inputs and site evaluations when required.
• Assist in the commissioning, testing, and handover process.

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (or related).
• PMP certification is a plus.
• Safety certifications (like NEBOSH/OSHA) are a plus
• 5 years of project management experience in HVAC/MEP/industrial services.
• Prior experience with cooling towers, PHEs, or piping systems is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with UAE and KSA project environments, including local authority approvals.

Skills & Competencies
• Strong project planning, scheduling, and execution skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project or Primavera and MS Office tools.
• Sound knowledge of health & safety practices and site management.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and perform under pressure at times.
