Project Engineer

Job description / Role

We are seeking an experienced project engineer to support EPC works on prestigious ADNOC projects in Ruwais. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in engineering execution within the oil & gas or energy sector, particularly in UAE-based EPC projects. The role requires site coordination, planning, vendor management, and ensuring compliance with project timelines, specifications, and safety standards.

Key responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage day-to-day engineering activities on site
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are met
• Ensure all work is executed in line with ADNOC standards and HSE regulations
• Assist in preparing and reviewing project schedules, work breakdown structures, and resource planning
• Review technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation
• Monitor project progress and report regularly to project manager
• Participate in site inspections, QA/QC checks, and handover documentation
• Resolve engineering and technical issues that arise during construction
• Ensure timely material and resource availability to avoid work delays

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, civil, or electrical engineering (as per project scope)
• Minimum 2 to 4 years of experience in UAE EPC projects (preferably with ADNOC or its subcontractors)
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, drawings, and material specifications
• Familiarity with ADNOC project standards and documentation
• Good communication and leadership skills
• Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project scheduling tools
• Must be willing to work full-time on Ruwais site
• UAE driving license preferred (optional but advantageous)
