Project Engineer (Mechanical)

Job description / Role

- Lead and manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and within budget
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to establish project scope, goals, and objectives
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans
- Monitor project progress and identify potential issues and risks, and develop and implement mitigation strategies
- Prepare and submit project reports, including progress reports, budget variance reports, and risk assessment reports
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations
- Review and approve project plans, designs, and documents
- Provide technical support and guidance to project team members
- Continuously seek to improve project management processes and procedures

Desired Candidate Profile

- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
- Results-oriented and able to meet strict deadlines.
- Proficiency in project management software tools.
- Comfortable working in a team-oriented environment.
