Job description / Role
Wood is presently looking to hire a SPI Specialist / Technical Project Technologist / Instrumentation Designer on a Gas metering project with Saudi Aramco to be based the contractor's (CPECC) office in Dubai . Below are more details about the position.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Instrument Index creation, development and checking
- Knowledge of wiring diagrams and Junction boxes is an asset
- Intools or SPI experience is a must
- Vendor Data reviews experience
- Knowledge of Valves and Valve Types is an asset
- Knowledge of field instruments like Transmitters and Gauges is an asset
- Existing equipment assessments and validations is an asset
- Material Requisitions preparation and checking
- P&IDs checking
- Checking others work and providing feedback
- Attend Site Visits as required and capture observations
- Knowledge of Data sheets and data sheets checking, especially in SPI
Requirements:
General
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Oil and Gas. (Maximum 7)
- Diploma in Technology with two years of minimum schooling as a Technologist or Designer
- Experience in Gas compressor stations
- Instrumentation background is an asset
Soft and computer Skills
- Good Organizational skills
- Aims to achieve high quality
- Good communications skills
- Strives to meet deadlines
- Good computer skills
- Knowledgeable of Bluebeam as an engineering tool is an asset
