Job description / Role
Our Client is looking for an exceptional Project Coordinator who can effectively coordinate FF&E design based on established concepts, program and budget under the direction of the Project Designer and Project Manager. You will participate in presentations and insure format is compatible with office and Client standards. You will be in charge of directing and reviewing furniture plans for content and accuracy and insures that they are fully coordinated with architectural, electrical, RCP & lighting plans and other consultants’ drawings. You will coordinate the presentation of artwork and FF&E installation with all parties involved. This position entails working with the Project Designer and Project Manager throughout projects to help formulate staff utilization/work plan and task assignments. Coordination with the Project Architectural Designer for any changes in finish schedule and FF&E items along with coordination of decorative lighting.
Requirements
You will be a detailed, all-rounder with previous experience as a FF&E Coordinator in the design industry in Dubai. Previous experience in coordination and maintenance of FF&E BOQ budgets is essential. You will be able to review FF&E specifications for documentation and approval. You will serve as local contact with purchasing agent for FF&E and be able to review sample, strike-offs for compliance with specifications and design intent. Knowledge of contractual responsibilities in relation to FF&E in all phases is essential.
