Job description / Role
The Project financial controller is responsible for project lifecycle monitoring to determinate if a project is progressing according to budget and communicating key financial information with the project leadership. He will act as advisor to project management teams and serve as liaisons between the finance departments and project leadership teams.
The role is part of the Global Client Finance Team, with additional responsibilities in project financial management incl. budgeting and forecasting, managing project schedules, maintaining compliance with our internal policies & US GAAP, monthly project audits, financial analytics incl. monthly cost variance reviews & pricing analysis, project billing and collections. Focus of this role is on minimizing engagement risks and revenue leakage as well as internal KPIs such as WIP and A/R.
Requirements
- Have experience in a similar role and environment (Project Financial Controller desirable) and experience in managing teams and supporting leadership by providing insight, analysis and financial results for review.
- Minimum experience of 8-10 years in similar professional services environment
- Excellent verbal and written language skills in English. Arabic is a plus
- Solid working knowledge of MS Office programs - Excel, Access & PowerPoint
- Education: University degree, preferably in finance/accounting or business administration combined with sound knowledge in finance & accounting.
- Be available to travel to Saudi Arabia up to 2 weeks per month.
