Job description / Role
• Provide tools, techniques and templates to ensure the efficient and effective execution and monitoring of projects and initiatives.
• To support and monitor internal projects undertaken through a defined framework ensuring good governance.
• Serve as the one-stop-shop for all project management support for business units
Strategic:
• Ensure the standardization of tools, techniques and templates to ensure the efficient and effective execution and monitoring of projects and initiatives.
• Ensure project management method is selected and customized to the needs of Company projects.
• Provide training on MS Project.
• Monthly management reporting regarding the project status/strategic initiative progress.
Operational:
• Drive the implementation and compliance of defined guidelines, tools, techniques employed in project management within the company.
• Coordinate with the assigned project managers and coordinators to obtain complete and regular updates on projects within Novo Cinemas.
• Highlight issues/challenges which affect or may affect the timely execution of projects to meet desired objectives.
• Support and facilitate the identification of the projects and initiatives associated risks
• Perform any other work related duties as assigned by the Strategy & Corporate Planning Director.
Health, Safety & Environment
• Ensure compliance to all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls across the department to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high quality products/services and a responsible environmental attitude.
Requirements
• Degree in Bachelors in Engineering or Business Administration related discipline is required.
• Professional Certification in Project Management (Prince 2 or PMP) from relevant institutions is advantage
• Above 5 years of relevant experience
• Expertise in MS Project 2013
