Job description / Role
Key responsibilities include:
• Establishes and tracks key milestones and manages third parties to ensure projects are completed within budget, timelines and to the requisite quality
• Liases with local authorities, consultants and contractors to ensure the smooth execution of works
• Establishes Work, Action, Resolution meetings to resolve and clear any obstacles to progress
• Manages contractual and procurement processes and ensures timely award of Consultants and Contractors
• Prepares LOA's , Award Reports including special contract clauses and advises on main contracts (BOQ), consultant contracts, provisional sum items and specialist contractors
Requirements
Candidates must have 5-10 year's work experience in project management, gained in a similar environment i.e. property development, consultancy, construction. Preference will be given to candidates with experience managing high-rise residential projects through the full development cycle.
To be successful in the role, candidates must demonstrate the ability to work effectively under pressure and be able to prioritise, plan ahead and achieve objectives within strict criteria and deadlines. The individual must be confident, pro-active and able to quickly identify and overcome any problems or obstacles they encounter. A high degree of integrity and ethics is essential, along with strong inter-personal skills and the ability to develop effective working relationships with all levels of seniority.
