Project Manager

Job description / Role

In General

• Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion
• Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs, control the time, cost.
• Review the work progress on regular basis
• Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status
• Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones
• Obtain permits and licenses and coordinate with authorities/consultants as per the project requirements
• Analyze, manage and mitigate risks

Planning

• From the outset, plan the build process, this means producing a critical path and understanding the timing of each stage.
• Following each phase of the project is essential to ensuring that the project is completed on time

Budget Management

• Financial planning and monitoring of the project. Keeping the team informed of forecasts and changes and managing the scope meticulously.

Salary:
AED 12,000 to 15,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

• BS degree in civil, architecture, engineering or related field in project management.
• Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in construction projects
• Proven working experience in construction management
• Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent time and project management skills
• Ability to work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
• Leadership and management skills
