Project Manager - Security Services

We are currently looking for an experienced Security Services Project Manager for our Secure Solutions Division. Reporting to the Branch Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for account management of a large security service contract and managing all operational activities paying special attention to customer complaints, satisfaction and employee well being.

Responsibilities includes (but not limited to) the following:

• Carry out random checks of sites (day / night) to ensure security personnel are carrying out their job functions. These inspections may include but are not limited to checking the MSS personnel's turnout, security licenses where applicable, adherence to their assignment instructions, maintenance of site logs etc.
• Investigate incidents and report to IMC/ PSBD control room, Branch Manager, HNOC, R/M. Issue disciplinary action or recommend termination on a case-to-case basis
• Daily administrative functions will include leave planning, leave approvals, recommend for increments, issue letters of appreciation to MSS personnel, and oversee annual appraisal process, completion of daily feedback / situational reports and manned services reports, monthly nominations for MSS Employee of the month programs. Update, compile post and site instructions. Verification of duty rosters every 7 days.
• Inspect the camp facilities – maintenance of discipline, cleanliness etc. and prepares Camp Inspection report.
• Address complaints immediate / 24 hours receipt, prompt reply to client’s correspondence for additional deployment request or change of guards,
• Ensure that assigned company vehicle and property is being utilized and maintained appropriately by the assigned staff.
• Coordinate with the training department for MSS personnel – where applicable on the NSI and PSBD training, PSBD/DPS licensing process. Finalize list of NSI trainees, coordinate transportation and relievers at sites and communicate changes to customers well in advance.
• Training and deployment of MSS personnel for new contracts and increase in services. Manage deployment of relievers and replacements of Guards.
• Meet customers on a regular basis (as per monthly schedule) and achieve monthly KPIs and to ensure customer satisfaction. Take over responsibility of customer liaison for small contracts which has been pre-agreed with the BM/ HNOC/RM.
• Adherence to HSE & the Quality Management System procedures and its performance
• Report HSE related incidences to the HSE Manager/HSE Officer and PSBD&DPS control room, Ensure all incidences are reported and recorded within 12 hours and not later.
• Ensure the HSE & Quality Policy and Objectives are communicated to every employee in the Operation Department.
• Ensure that daily / weekly /monthly reports are generated and submitted HNOC on time.

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in any discipline from a reputable university
• Minimum of 5 years supervisory or managerial level experience in the field of security services, or in military, police or civil defense.
• Highly developed sense of integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction
• Demonstrated passion for excellence with respect to treating and caring for customers
• Strong administration and reporting skills.
• Proficient in MS Office application (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Excellent English communication skills, verbal and written
