Job Summary:
The Project Manager - Civil Engineering is responsible for the planning, execution, and successful completion of civil engineering projects. This role involves overseeing all aspects of the project, from initial design through to construction and handover, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Scheduling:

- Develop and manage detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budgets.
- Coordinate with design teams, contractors, and clients to align on project scope and objectives.

Budget Management:

- Prepare project budgets and manage all financial aspects throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor expenditures and ensure that projects stay within the agreed budget.

Quality Assurance:

- Ensure that all work is performed in compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections and oversee the quality of construction materials and workmanship.

Risk Management:

- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and costs.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and manage any safety issues that arise on-site.

Stakeholder Communication:

- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
- Provide regular progress reports and updates on project status, including any changes to scope, schedule, or budget.

Team Leadership:

- Lead and manage a team of engineers, site supervisors, and other construction professionals.
- Allocate tasks, monitor team performance, and provide mentorship and guidance as needed.

Contract Management:

- Negotiate contracts with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Ensure all contracts are executed according to project requirements and within budget.

Permitting and Approvals:

- Secure all necessary permits and approvals required for the project.
- Liaise with local authorities and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with all legal requirements.

Project Documentation:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including contracts, drawings, permits, and reports.
- Prepare final project reports and documentation for client handover.

Problem Solving:

- Address any issues that arise during the project, whether technical, logistical, or related to stakeholder concerns.
- Adapt project plans as necessary to accommodate unforeseen challenges.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of years of experience in project management within the civil engineering or construction industry.
- Professional certification (e.g., PMP, PE) is preferred.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, AutoCAD).
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Salary:
AED 30,000 to 33,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
