Job description / Role
Job Purpose
Responsible for planning, communicating and efficiently executing the project in accordance with the agreed budgets, timescales, process and quality targets.
Principal Accountabilities
• To establish a working program/schedule that will meet with client’s requirement and in accordance to REA’s tender documents, to include all work in TCH, Factory(s) and on site.
• Establish and maintain an "Inventory Code Book" for all raw materials.
• To ensure that all primary supplies can be ordered on time.
• To check the suppliers invoices against original quotes before payments are made to the suppliers.
• To ensure that all drawings issued to the Client or REA’s other departments are checked and approved.
• To prepare compliance statement and to prepare all technical literature and sample in coordination with TCH.
• To assist in the co-ordination of the Curtain Wall Prototype Testing.
• To report, w/r applicable, on materials compliance after testing & to submit reports of all materials tested & their approval to the Client.
• To liaise with the PDM and QMR, to ensure that schedules are on time and that quality specifications are being adhered to.
• To instruct survey team to embed fixing crew with necessary equipment.
• To appoint a Curtain Wall Fixing Contractors to fix the Curtain Wall Frames on site, and to supervise all the site fixing activities.
• To maintain a "Variations Log" for any extra work or material required to be done.
Requirements
University Degree in Engineering earned at reputed university
Experience: 10 - 15 years relevant experience
Knowledge & Skills:
• AutoCAD
• Microsoft Office
• Project Planning
• Technically Inclined
