Project Manager (Base build & Fit Out)

Job description / Role

Our Design & Build Contracting client has a new requirement for well experienced Project Manager to join their team in Abu Dhabi to lead and manage high value residential base build and fit out projects. Successful candidates will have a proven background as a Project Manager for residential projects in the UAE and have relevant contracting or consultancy company background leading and driving high value, high spec residential projects

This role is available for immediate joining and is an initial 6 Month Contract position, employed as an outsource through J10 Consulting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Site supervision and design review of high value residential projects
• Lead the execution of base build and interior fit-out projects from design finalization to handover.
• Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.
• Coordinate with clients, designers, engineers, procurement, and site teams for smooth project execution.
• Conduct regular site visits, monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure work is executed as per drawings and specifications.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and quality standards on all sites.
• Prepare and submit progress reports to management and clients.
• Manage subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring timely delivery and performance compliance.
• Handle client communication and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead project meetings and provide updates on timelines, risks, and solutions.

Project Manager Experience:

• Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or related
• Minimum 8-10 years relevant experience in leading base build and fit out projects - at least 2 in the UAE
• Proven related professional experience on high value residential projects
• Experience of working in a Consultancy or Contractor company leading and driving base build and fit out Projects.
• Familiar with Abu Dhabi municipality codes and regulations
• Confident and competent to lead the project and the team independently with only guidance from the PD.
• Experience holding client meetings and strong stakeholder / client engagement and management.
• Proven track record of executing projects within budget, demonstrating commercial acumen, P&L management

Salary:
AED 30,000 to 35,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
