We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead bridge maintenance projects under Dubai RTA contracts. The role requires strong technical expertise in structural bridge maintenance, in-depth knowledge of RTA standards and procedures, and proven leadership in managing complex infrastructure works within live traffic environments.

Key Responsibilities

1) Lead and manage bridge maintenance projects in compliance with RTA specifications, contract requirements, and UAE regulations.
2) Plan, execute, and monitor all maintenance activities including structural rehabilitation and emergency repairs.
3) Oversee replacement of expansion joints, elastomeric/pot bearings, and mechanical bearings in accordance with approved method statements.
4) Manage crack assessment and repair methodologies (epoxy injection, routing & sealing, stitching, structural strengthening where required).
5) Supervise concrete repair works including spalling treatment, corrosion mitigation, cathodic protection systems, and protective coatings.
6) Coordinate traffic management plans and ensure safe execution within operational road networks.
7) Ensure strict adherence to QA/QC procedures, HSE standards, and RTA inspection protocols.
8) Liaise with RTA engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
9) Manage project schedules, budgets, procurement, subcontractors, and resource allocation.
10) Prepare progress reports, technical submissions, method statements, risk assessments, and claims documentation.
11) Lead project meetings and ensure timely resolution of technical and contractual issues.

Requirements:

1) Experience: Minimum 15 years of project management experience in bridge construction / maintenance projects.
2) Proven experience working directly on RTA bridge projects in Dubai (mandatory).
3) Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s Degree preferred).
4) Strong technical knowledge of:
a) Expansion joint replacement systems
b) Bearing replacement techniques (including jacking procedures)
c) Structural crack repair methodologies
d) Concrete rehabilitation and strengthening systems
e) Corrosion treatment and waterproofing systems
5) In-depth understanding of RTA specifications, quality standards, and approval processes.
6) Experience managing bridge maintenance under live traffic conditions.
7) Strong leadership, contractual, and stakeholder management skills.
