Project Manager/Contracts Manager - Water Treatment/Desalination

Job description / Role

My client is a leading company who have developed groundbreaking technology for the waste treatment and desalination of water to provide exceptionally pure, high quality drinking water to utility companies and end users directly across the Middle East. They are currently looking for an experienced project manager/contracts manager to support the CEO in the award and delivery of contracts across the region. The role will include managing and coordinating the end to end project from the initial opportunity through to tendering to the delivery and handover stages. The role will include a lot of client liaison, subcontractor management, project management, business development and a high level of technical knowledge in the water treatment field to ensure that the project is delivered on time and to the client requirements.

Requirements

Candidates should have a degree ad should ideally be from a marine biology, main engineering, chemical engineering or environmental engineering background and should be able to demonstrate excellent knowledge in the field of water treatment, desalination and potable water. Candidates should have experience of project tendering, contract management and should be able to manage a project from inception to client handover. Candidates should be able to deal with high end clients that will including government bodies and Royal families.
