Project Manager - Customer Projects

- The team provides and supports the systems that bring the business together. That means maintaining all it from the most basic desktop support to the most complex flight information systems. They're game changers for the industry by bringing us smart developments and advanced processes which revolutionize what we do.

Job Purpose

- The purpose of this role is to work with different teams to ensure the timely delivery of the largest and most complex technology projects required for the existing airports and their operations to increase capacity, improve resilience and provide future proofed solutions that also integrate easily with existing airport operating environment.
- The job holder will be responsible for scope, schedule, cost and quality management of assigned projects as well as managing resources communication, risk and procurement. They will ensure projects are delivered in line with DA's Project Management methodology and Governance Handbooks.
- The job holder will also be required to track project documentation, risks, issues, financials, schedule and report status updates regularly. They will be responsible to ensure assigned projects are aligned with development strategies and 5-year investment plan.

Requirements

Qualifications and Education

- The job holder should be a minimum of Degree Level or Bachelor's Degree holder preferably in a technical or scientific field.
- PMBOK, PMP, ITILv3 Foundation qualifications would be preferable.

Experience

- Minimum 8 years' experience of working in complex technology environments delivered in aviation, manufacturing, IT or logistics businesses is expected.
- Experience in full project management lifecycle and delivery of medium to large scale technology projects and managing multiple teams with varied deliverables is a must. In addition, they should have knowledge of physical airport infrastructure and technology solutions, design, resources and communication management.
- Experience of managing relationships with Executives, Senior Leaders and Engineers including partner organizations and multiple teams with varied deliverables.
- Experience of technologies involved in biometric applications, passenger processing and digital customer experiences are all beneficial.
- Experience in vendor management, commercial and contractual management.
- Capable of presenting complex technical subjects in a simplified manner to business partners.

Knowledge

- Knowledge of architecting and delivering large scale technology solutions is mandatory.
- Knowledge of the aviation industry and aviation solutions is highly preferable.
- Knowledgeable in delivering and governing large scale and complex IT projects with a high level of integration is highly preferable.
- Knowledge of IATA and ACI Standards for Biometric processing is preferable but not mandatory.
- Implementation and operating knowledge of ISO22301, ISO27001 is preferable but not mandatory.
