Job description / Role
1. Drive all project related team tasks/meetings from pre-development/development through to construction and take a leadership role in making sure all parties are prepared and informed of deadlines and deliverables
2. Managing conceptual design of projects and liaising with Design team,Construction team and local authorities
3. Manages overall project including schedule, cost/budget, risk, quality, and safety
4. Assesses the impact(s) of technical flaws and advise on design solutions, construction changes and schedule slippages
5. Key stakeholder management throughout the project life cycle
6. Manage assigned technical services projects. Ensure technical services projects meet budget, schedule and quality requirements and assist with RFI/RFPs, collection and evaluation of bids and vendors while maintaining great relationships with internal and external partners.
7. Provides guidance on brand standards to franchisees and monitor the production of design documents through their architect to ensure brand standard compliance plus monitor construction progress to ensure compliance in addition to reporting, forecasting and communicating internally. Monitor and provide guidance for the purpose of maintaining project pace through tracking of milestones and problem resolution.
8. Provide support to the development team and assist in sales efforts by presenting the Project Management team’s value added services. Maintain contact with Sales RVPs and SVPs
9. Provides architectural and engineering guidance to internal WHG partners for projects that require scope of work evaluations.
10. Work with leadership team to continuously improve services, process and procedures including selling our services.
11. Follow up on requirements of completion sheets
12. Follow up on Government required approvals
13. Coordinates between fit out team and procurement in regards with equipment installations, interior design requirements
14. Coordinated between MEP, joinery, fit our departments for time lines of completion
15. Prepare a business plan “ New Project” and set its timelines of completion
16. Ensure hand over is done once project is completed at 100% plus its snagging points are completed
17. Ensure project is handed over to Operations as of it’s full completion 15 working days prior lease agreement date
Requirements
1. Architectural/ Engineering degree
2. Must have delivered a hospitality project within the last 5 years
3. Hospitality Project Management experience min of 2 years in UAE
4. Consultancy/client-side experience only
5. PMP preferred
6. English and Arabic
