Project Manager (Human Capital transformation) - UAE National

Job description / Role

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible to oversee projects and initiatives, ensuring they achieve their defined objectives. This involves managing the identification, planning, execution, reporting, and handover of projects in alignment with established plans while also mitigating risks related to cost, resources, time, and other factors.

This is a government organization exploring a broad range of new strategic initiatives for Abu Dhabi to create a lasting impact.

Description

* Facilitate the review and alignment of proposed projects with established plans, defining project scope based on requirements.
* Develop comprehensive project charters outlining scope, objectives, risks, governance, and activities for all managed projects.
* Create detailed project plans using tools like Microsoft Project, ensuring clear activity definitions, ownership, and dependencies.
* Provide subject matter expertise in identifying, scoping, and planning strategic initiatives to support delivery execution.
* Monitor and track active projects to ensure timely and budget-compliant execution, while managing risks and implementing mitigation measures as needed.

* Must have an undergraduate degree from a top - tier international university, preferably in the fields of economics, business administration, or project management.
* Must have experience working as a Project Manager in an international strategy/management consulting firm or a mix of consulting and relevant industry experience.
* Must have experience managing projects within large and complex transformations.
* Strong problem solving and analytical skills, along with expertise in conducting feasibility studies and designing presentations.
* Excellent communication skills along with strong stakeholder management skills.
* Expertise in human capital projects/transformations is an advantage.
* Must be a UAE National.
