Job description / Role
Our client, one of the leading technology firm for electronic payment transactions are looking to hire Project Manager for its Payment Solutions department.
They are seeking candidates who can lead planning and/or implementation of projects. Other responsibilities include:
- Facilitate the definition of project missions, goals, tasks, and resource requirements; resolve or assist in the resolution of conflicts within and between projects or functional areas; develop methods to monitor project or area progress; and provide corrective supervision if necessary.
- Responsibility for assembling the project staff; for their technical or functional development, performance, and/or termination during the project or projects.
- Manage project budget and resource allocation.
- Interact regularly with existing or potential clients to determine their needs and to develop plans for improving delivery.
- Follow a defined, agreed upon project management.
- Work as a cohesive part of the PMO.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Requirements
- 8- 10 years of relevant industry experience.
- Good education background
- Must have Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or equivalent.
- Financial knowledge especially in the area of payment systems and cards.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Project, MS Project Server and Office applications.
- Thorough understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of IT infrastructure.
- Business-level fluency in English
