Project Manager (Steel and Shade Structures)

Job description / Role

Our Well regarded Contracting Client has a new requirement for a seasoned Project Manager experienced in steel and shade structures to join their team in the UAE to drive and lead new projects. Successful candidates will have a proven background as a Project Manager delivering steel and shade structures in the UAE and have worked for recognised main contracting companies previously.

This role is available for immediate joining and is a direct hire, permanent opportunity, employed by our client.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee end-to-end project execution for tensile shade structures.
- Review and interpret technical drawings, BOQs, and specifications.
- Manage installation, and site operations to ensure quality and safety standards.
- Plan and control project budgets, schedules, and resources.
- Coordinate with designers, engineers, and subcontractors for timely delivery.
- Maintain excellent client relationships and ensure high satisfaction.
- Prepare progress reports and manage approvals from relevant authorities.

Project Manager (Share Structures) Experience:

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Structural Engineering (preferred).
- Min. 5 years of experience in Civil/tensile shades or steel structure projects (UAE experience preferred).
- Strong knowledge of PVC/HDPE/PTFE membrane structures (Advantage).
- Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Sharepoint, etc.).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with local authority approvals and safety standards.
- Valid UAE Driving License.

Salary:
AED 12,000 to 20,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
