Job description / Role
Project Manager from a Steel background required for Contractor in Dubai.
NSR are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established Western Contractor in the UAE who specialise in Steel structure projects. They have just secured a large steel package on a Mixed-use project in Dubai, and they are looking to strengthen their existing team with an experienced Project Manager.
This person will report into the Operations Manager in Dubai and the Regional MD. They will manage several projects in the region of circa 35m - 75m AED in value, from inception to completion. It's important that this person is client - facing and has experience at Tender / Bid stage as well as on site delivery of projects, as this will also be a big part of the role.
Requirements
- Western educated candidates only (as per client request.)
- Experience working for a Steel sub-contractor or Main contractor on steel projects.
- Middle east experience is also a must for this role.
- Must be a polished, client facing professional.
- Capable of effectively managing programme / plan and people as well as being a pusher on site getting the project delivered.
- Tender / Bid experience will be considered as a great advantage
- Commercially astute as well as being technically very good.
- Degree in construction related subject (Civil Engineering) will be advantageous also.
