Our newest opportunity is for a Project Manager (Transportation Structures) to join our award-winning team based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Responsibilities

We envisage success in this role to include:

- Representing the Firm in communications with the Client, Sub-Contractors and JV partners, as delegated by the Project Director/Director of Infrastructure Services.
- Preparing, planning and controlling of financial budgets and team resources in order to deliver required commercial outcomes on transportation structures projects.
- Preparing and managing complex project programmes and project contracts on transportation structures projects.
- Ensuring project standards and QMS procedures are implemented across each of the technical areas involved in the project, including project administration
- Solving via innovative methods a wide range of transportation problems
- Leading the team of engineers and designers to prepare transportation structures designs
- Planning, prioritising, scheduling tasks, people and resources in order meet identified time frames and standards
Sharing knowledge of statutory and commercial frameworks with the ability to prepare and control budgets, and manage contracts and invoices.
- Preparing a wide range of Transportation Infrastructure Engineering Schemes by leveraging extensive experience using AASHTO and other international Design Standards
- Coordinating internal multi-discipline design teams working on Transportation projects to ensure cost effective, quality and timely input.
- Managing external consultants to ensure cost effective, quality and timely input.
- Preparing and presenting project reports and presentations for internal and external clients.
- Preparing technical proposals for submission to external parties.
- Preparing cost estimates for infrastructure design projects

Requirements

Qualifications

- To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 9 years experience (5 of these years within the GCC) partnered with a Bachelors degree in Engineering or equivalent, a Master's Degree is preferable.
- Membership of professional institution as well as being or working toward's either IEng, CEng / P.E. (Desirable).
