Job Responsibility and Requirement
Project Planning and Scheduling:
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using industry-standard software, in this case Primavera P6.
- Identify critical path activities and key milestones to drive the project forward.
- Conduct weekly lookahead meetings to review upcoming activities, assess progress, and address any potential roadblocks.
Resource Loading and Management:
- Allocate resources effectively to meet project demands and optimize productivity.
- Develop resource loading schedules to ensure that labour, materials, and equipment are adequately deployed at each stage of the project. (In line with each Projects requirement).
- Produce histograms and S curves in line with client and internal requirements.
Stage-Gate Rolling Planning:
- Implement a rolling planning approach to adapt to evolving project requirements at each stage gate.
- Conduct bi-weekly schedule updates to incorporate changes, assess risks, and reallocate resources as necessary.
Communication and Collaboration:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, construction, and management, to align project goals and deliverables.
- Develop and update project dashboards to provide stakeholders with visibility into project progress, key performance indicators, and risks.
- Identify and communicate areas of the process where improvements can be made, to benefit the project and the wider planning and scheduling function.
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of experience required.
- Minimum 5+ Years of experience in Oil & Gas industry
- Bachelor honours degree in a relevant technical discipline from a recognised institution.
