Charterhouse are working with a leading supplier of high quality sanitary and interior products, which have an exciting opportunity within their projects division. Our client is looking to hire experienced specification sales consultants, who will be responsible for generating new leads and converting project quotations into confirmed business.

The purpose of this role will be to proactively seek new business opportunities through conducting regular field visits to clients which will mainly include architects, developers and contractors. You will ensure that a premium service is maintained at all times and that projects are delivered within the agreed timescales and executed to the highest quality. You must be able to demonstrate excellent project management skills, handling multiple assignments and priorities simultaneously whilst not compromising on the quality of work or performance. You will take responsibility for evaluating potential leads, providing tailored proposals which suit client’s requirements and following up on quotations to convert into confirmed business.

In addition you will work closely alongside each internal department to ensure a smooth delivery of project installation, foreseeing any potential barriers and proactively resolving them.

Requirements

To be considered for this role you should have a demonstrable track record in securing new business and converting projects within Education, Healthcare or Hospitality sector. The successful candidate must hold a bachelor’s Degree in business administration or a relevant field and have a minimum of 5 years project sales experience within the UAE.

Due to the field work involved in this role all successful candidates must possess a valid UAE driver’s license and be willing to travelling up to 80% of the time within the UAE.
