Charterhouse is working with a leading global law firm looking to hire a Projects and Construction Lawyer with 4-6 years PQE to join its market leading practice in Dubai.
The role will involve working closely with the lead Partner and senior Lawyers in the firm’s Dubai office and well as part of its broader Middle East network. The successful candidate will be required to support the transport and infrastructure practice, advising on a range of corporations operating in the energy and infrastructure sectors, as well as global financial institutions. Involvement in project development transactions for both borrowers and lenders in large scale energy and infrastructure projects. Leading and negotiating transactions, assisting and supervising more junior associates and trainees.

Requirements
Our client is interested in speaking to Qualified Lawyer with 4-6 years post qualification experience gained at a leading law firm. Strong academic records and qualifications. Strong experience in projects, infrastructure development and construction matters. Experience of advising on project documents (power purchase agreements, land lease agreements, shareholders agreements, fuel supply agreement). Great understanding of project finance is desirable. Knowledge of PPP/PFI structures is essential.
