Job description / Role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Projects Director to lead our interior fitout projects within the luxury residential sector in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in interior design and project management, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality residential projects on time and within budget. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, strategic planning abilities, and a keen eye for detail, ensuring that each project meets the highest standards of excellence and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple interior fitout projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of project managers, designers, and site staff to foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently and effectively.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring clear communication and expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure adherence to project specifications and quality standards.
- Prepare and present project updates, reports, and proposals to senior management and stakeholders.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and budgets.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and company policies throughout all projects.
- Drive innovation and best practices in project management and interior design processes to enhance efficiency and improve client satisfaction.
- Participate in the bidding process for new projects, providing insights and expertise to secure opportunities that align with the company's vision.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in project management within the interior design and build industry, with a focus on luxury residential projects.
- Proven experience managing large-scale projects from inception to completion, with a portfolio showcasing successful project delivery.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
- In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies and tools, as well as design principles and construction processes.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing project requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
- Familiarity with the local market conditions, regulations, and best practices in Dubai’s luxury residential sector.
Salary:
AED
35,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
