• As a Projects Manager, my scope of work at Tatweer includes project conception and initiation, project planning, project execution, project performance and control, and finally project close. This applied to consulting projects and ITS implementation projects
• Main Duties
• Writing and reviewing technical proposals, RFPs, project plans.
• Assigning individual responsibilities within the team and managing the schedules of team members.
• Supervising the implementation of ITS projects.
• Providing technical assistance for projects managed by other project managers and task leads.
• Building and maintaining relationships with local authorities & company clients.
• Collaborating with local stakeholders and companies to develop technical proposals.
• Helping in building the company’s team in collaboration with the HR team.
• Conducting transportation-related studies including setting up methodology, assigning tasks, and reviewing the results.
• Writing reports, delivering presentations, communicating concepts and deliverables to clients and participate in quality contrClaims Expert - Dubai / KSAol checks.
• Providing directions, making decisions and/or obtaining additional assistance as the situation warrants to ensure project completion per schedule and budget.
• Discharge duties in a safe and responsible manner.
• Report environmental and health and safety incidents.
• Be aware of the importance of conformance with policies, procedures and with the requirements of the integrated management system.
• Be aware of the significant environmental and health and safety aspects/hazards of their work activities and participate as required in the development and implementation of control measures.
Requirements
• 10-15 years in a similar position, UAE experience essential
• Certified professional engineer
• Experience managing projects in: roads, transport, highways, and bridges.
• Experience in managing vendors and contractors regarding work scope changes to ensure that all contract commitments are completed on time per applicable specifications.
• Demonstrated business management skills including consulting, customer service, and business acumen
• Knowledge of financial principles to quantify costs and benefits of projects and to track and maintain project budgets
• Experience in project scheduling, cost controls, tracking and reporting methodologies
