Job description / Role
Client is an Architectural & Engineering Consultancy is currently recruiting for Project Coordinator which will lead into a Design Manager role based in Dubai.
The position is to oversee internal and external design teams in order to coordinate the design process as well as securing and preparing bids for upcoming works.
- Managing the design process using commercial, contractual, programme/time awareness and technical expertise
- Supporting, understanding and advising the client as to the requirements and obligations in the development of a building design
- Develop scope-of-work and contract document deliverables list for each related discipline
- Negotiate scope-of-work, deliverables and price with consulting firms
- Manage distribution and production of project workload within team
- Ensuring the design process recognizes current legislation, standards and codes of practice where appropriate
- Ensuring design information is of the right quality and keeps pace with project timescales
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture
- Educated from a Western University
- Minimum 5 years experience
- Middle East Project experience
- You will have buildings construction experience
- Must be proficient in English
