Proposals Manager

Job description / Role

The Proposals Manager we are searching will be part of an international Bid management team, Pre Sales Engineering and proposals team in DarkMatter. In this role you will work as individual on your area, but will be collaborating with other technical writers as well as with translators, marketing, programmers, project managers, and other specialists in Europe and Asia. You will have ownership for designing, writing, revising and/or editing of technical proposal material for example tender defense presentations, product descriptions, commercial responses, etc...

As a Proposals Manager, you will:

- Oversee preparation of illustrative material, selecting drawings, sketches, diagrams, and charts, supporting slide/video production, serving as editor on specific publications including article selection, artwork coordination, productions and distribution.
- May assist in preparation and layout of work for publication. Produces technical text on the documents and integrates it with previously mentioned media, if necessary
- Provide updates in Bid management and proposals
- Track and document issues
- Perform peer reviews of Bid management and proposals
- Perform UI text reviews to make sure text adheres to guides
- Test documentation in real environment, requires hands on work with the product
- Proof documents for spelling and grammar mistakes
- Summarize vendor documents in concise English write up

Requirements

To bring your dream to life, you'll need:

- Bachelor's degree with technical writing or English as major.
- Due to this is role where you are required to work with minimal guidance, we expect at least 8+ years of experience as Proposals manager.
- Proven ability to write technical documentation in English must provide samples
- Experience as technical writer or background in Bid management and proposals
- Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Expert or Master or similar knowledge
- Strong experience in creating and maintaining Office templates
- In-depth skills in VBA for Microsoft Office (Mainly Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- A desire to innovate in the UAE
