Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The Procure-to-Pay (PTP) Associate - Invoice processing is responsible for all aspects of recording, processing, and reconciling accounts payable invoices as per established Averda policies and procedures in an efficient, timely and accurate manner.

ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Receive and verify vendor invoices and Process those Invoices or Prepare batches of invoices to ensure all vendor payments are booked in the system
• Resolve Invoice on holds and provide resolution thru following up with the right contact person through email or telephone to ensure all vendor payments are done as per agreed terms
• Assist accounting duties including month-end closing and help in submitting financials on time according to the company month end timetable
• Assist in monthly balance sheet reconciliations to identify any issues that might arise
• Vendor Helpdesk - Handling different issues with vendors & resolving the outstanding invoices
• Perform Supplier statement reconciliation to ensure the accounts are updated and avoid any duplicate payments

PERFORMANCE MEASURES/SUCCESS CRITERIA
• Meeting and exceeding the key process indicators and Service Level Agreements assigned for the team

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting (mandatory)
• Minimum 3-6 years of professional experience in end-to-end accounts payable and accounting transactions
• Good written and spoken English
• Detail oriented
• Extensive Knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
• Working knowledge of Oracle
