Public Health & Fire Design Engineer

Job description / Role

Small local engineering consultancy requires a Public Health & Fire Design Engineer to join their thriving Dubai office.

Key responsibilities shall include:
- Formulate & prepare own spreadsheets for sizing of schematics, performing calculations, preparing equipment schedules.
- Demonstrate clear ability to read Architectural & Structural drawings.
- Direct CAD staff and check produced work compliance to his design.

Requirements

- 4 year Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a accredited University or 3 year Diploma from a creditable institute.
- 5 years experience in calculating for and designing the following building services systems:
- Reticulation of domestic hot & cold water.
- Pressurized & gravity services.
- Pressurized & treated process water distribution
- Sanitary soil & waste collection system
- LPG systems
- Infrastructure (plot wide) layouts of any above
- Fire fighting sprinkler & standpipes and inert gas protection systems.
