Public Relations Officer

Job description / Role

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Public Relations Officer to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing our company's public image, building strong media relationships, and crafting compelling communications that enhance brand visibility and reputation in the UAE market.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective public relations strategies and campaigns.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with media outlets, journalists, and industry influencers.
- Prepare and distribute press releases, media kits, and other PR materials.
- Monitor media coverage and analyze public perception of the organization.
- Coordinate and manage events, press conferences, and promotional activities.
- Collaborate with marketing and communication teams to ensure brand consistency.
- Respond promptly to media inquiries and manage crisis communication when necessary.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and competitive landscape.

- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Public Relations Officer or similar role, preferably in the UAE or Middle East.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
- Strong media relations and networking abilities within the UAE market.
- Ability to craft clear, persuasive messages tailored for different audiences.
- Highly organized with strong project management and multitasking skills.
- Professional, proactive, and able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital communication tools.
