Job description / Role
Objectives:
• Responsible for managing import, local purchase for Group of hypermarket/supermarkets
Main responsibilities:
• Developing the procurement strategy.
• Negotiating commercial contract arrangements with suppliers.
• Negotiating prices, quantities and delivery time-scales.
• Provide reports about predicted future sales.
• Ensuring that products are delivered on time.
• Searching the market for opportunistic purchases.
• Looking out for price fluctuations in the market place.
• Analyzing consumer buying patterns and predicting future trends.
• Developing effective working relationships with our suppliers.
• Developing new supplier relationships.
• Reviewing pricing and promotional strategies.
• Reporting to: General Manager
• Number required: 1
• Duration: permanent
• Working Hours: 9am-6pm
• Travel requirements: Occasional travel within country
• Gross monthly base salary: AED
• Other Benefits: Company Maintained Vehicle
Requirements
• Graduate with 5 year Or more experience as Purchase Manager for supermarkets/Hypermarkets.
• Thorough knowledge of products & suppliers
• Strong Personality
• Strong Negotiation skills
• Good Contact with local suppliers in UAE
