Purchase Officer

Job description / Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchase Officer to join our dynamic team in Dubai. In this role, you will be responsible for managing procurement activities for our automotive company, ensuring timely sourcing of quality materials and maintaining strong vendor relationships to support our operational needs.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and execute the end-to-end procurement process for automotive parts and supplies.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and maintain effective vendor relationships.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production teams to forecast purchasing needs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all purchasing activities.
- Track and analyze procurement data to optimize costs and improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal departments to understand material requirements and delivery timelines.
- Prepare reports on purchasing activities, market trends, and supplier performance.

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in procurement or purchasing within the automotive industry is highly preferred.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain supplier relationships.
- Good understanding of supply chain processes and logistics.
- Proficient in using procurement software and MS Office applications.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
