Purchasing Buyer

As a Purchasing Buyer, you will be responsible in assisting the team in developing an inventive and cost effective strategy, and to align it with the main procurement objectives.

What you will be doing:

- Ensures compliance to company guidelines, procurement policies and procedures, and set strategies.
- Negotiates with suppliers and vendors in order to acquire the most cost-effective deals to reduce procurement expenses .
- Source and engage reliable suppliers and introduce new products, and maintain long-standing business relationships with existing ones.
- Stays up to date regarding new products, materials and market trends.

Requirements

Your experience and skills include:

- Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in similar role in the industry
- Good command of English Language
- Good knowledge in Microsoft Office & Opera
- Has a solid network of vendors and suppliers in the UAE
- Has valid UAE driver's licence

Your team and working environment:

The pre-opening project consists of 3 famous ACCOR brands - Adagio, Novotel and Mövenpick hotels with a total of 885 rooms, located in Jumeirah Village Triangle by Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road (E311) opposite City Center Me'aisem.
