Position Title: Purchasing Officer
Employment Type: Full time
Salary: up to 6K AED all-inclusive depending on the experience and qualifications
Job Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
About the Client:
An international food & beverage company with high-end restaurant outlets in UAE.
Job Description:
- Handle and oversee the procurement of all goods and services through appropriate bidding processes
- Develop and implement purchasing and contract management instructions, policies, and procedures
- Ensure that all purchases and requisitions have proper approvals
- Oversee and assist in unloading, receiving, sorting, stocking, securing, and distributing goods
- Participate in the inventory process (monthly, quarterly, and annually)
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Male, 40 years old and below
- Minimum of 3 years of related progressive experience in hotels or restaurants with proven work experience as Purchasing Officer, Purchasing Agent, or similar role
- Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices such as researching, evaluating, and liaising with vendors
- Immediate joiner is preferable
