Pegasus (A DarkMatter Company) are looking for an experienced QA Engineer to join our fast paced team in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

We work very closely with our clients who range from intelligence agencies, military, law-enforcement agencies and other critical utilities for the functioning of governments and states.
We are building an organisation of specialists to provide the ultimate big data, analytics and information management platform. Whatever the scope, data scale or sensitivity of our clients' work we will leverage our platform to build new capabilities and workflows as well as provide professional services on how to best leverage our offerings to serve our clients mission.
About the Job
In this position you will define, design, and implement benchmarks to identify performance regressions and bottlenecks plus set up and manage end to end test environment
You will conduct scale and performance testing on distributed systems and work closely with tool and automation developer, leverage tools for both backend and frontend testing
Part of the position will require you to work closely with the developer and product owner on performance requirements as well as analyze test data and generate test report
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have experience in testing high-performance, highly-available and scalable distributed systems plus you will have an understanding of performance measurements, ability to analyze performance data, build dashboards to plot and analyze large set of data
You will need scripting knowledge in Python, Java, or equivalent plus experience in building large end to end distributed system
Finally you will need experience with Agile development methodology (e.g., Scrum) as well as a good knowledge in Unix/Linux with experience working with HDFS, ElasticSearch and Kafka is a plus
