QA/QC Engineer

Job description / Role

- Ensure that work is being carried out as per project specifications and contract requirement
- Review project technical submittals (Material/Samples/Shop Drawings) for correctness before formal submission to the consultant
- To conduct internal inspection in coordination with the project execution team to ensure that internal inspection findings are addressed before offer for Consultants Inspection/ Authorities.
- Generate relevant project quality deliverables - Method Statement, ITP, Material Inspection Request & Work Inspection Request in line with the protocol set by the employer/consultant.
- Conduct joint inspection with the consultant and obtain approval of MIR, WIR, and MEP clearances.
- Ensure that materials are being stored as per the specific requirement set by the manufacturer
- Ensure that Project Green Building Requirements as set by authorities for various constituent materials are complied with
- Liaison with the testing laboratories for the timely sampling of materials and delivery of test results as per the frequency of tests
- Liaison with the subcontractor's onboard and ensure that the sub-contractors scope of work is in line with the project requirement
- Generate weekly and monthly QA/QC Reports
- Liaise with the project document controller to ensure that all submittal trackers are updated at regular intervals.

- Hands-on experience in the Quality Control inspection of RCC structural elements - Raft foundations Columns and suspended slab and finishes.
- ISO 9001:2015 Internal Quality Auditor certification.

Salary:
AED 8,500 to 9,500 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
