QA QC Engineer

Job description / Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA QC Engineer to join our dynamic construction team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will ensure that all construction activities meet quality standards and comply with project specifications, contributing to the successful delivery of high-quality projects.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality control procedures and standards for construction projects.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and safety standards.
- Review construction materials and workmanship to confirm quality requirements are met.
- Prepare and maintain detailed quality documentation, reports, and records.
- Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve quality issues promptly.
- Coordinate internal and external audits and inspections.
- Identify and address potential quality risks and recommend corrective actions.
- Monitor compliance with environmental, safety, and regulatory requirements related to quality.

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a QA QC Engineer in the construction industry, preferably within the UAE.
- Thorough knowledge of quality standards, construction codes, and regulations in the UAE.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with quality management software and tools is an advantage.
- Valid UAE driving license and willingness to travel to various construction sites.
