QA QC Engineer

Job description / Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA QC Engineer to join our dynamic construction team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will ensure that all construction projects meet the highest quality standards and comply with industry regulations, driving excellence from project inception through completion.

Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance and quality control processes for construction projects.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with project specifications and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve quality-related issues promptly.
- Prepare detailed reports on quality inspections, non-conformances, and corrective actions.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental guidelines during all quality activities.
- Stay updated with the latest industry standards and best practices in quality management.
- Provide training and guidance to the team on quality procedures and standards.

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, with 5yrs Gulf Exp. related field.
- Proven experience as a QA QC Engineer within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of ISO quality management systems and relevant construction codes.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficient in quality control software and MS Office applications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification in Quality Management (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO 9001) is a plus.
- Willingness to work in the UAE and adapt to local regulations and cultural environment.
