Qa/Qc Engineer

Job description / Role

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement quality control plans and procedures.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure quality standards are met and maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to address any quality issues.
• Monitor and report on quality performance metrics to management.
• Stay updated on industry standards and regulations to ensure compliance.
• Lead quality inspections and ISO audits for all projects.
• Review and approve contractors' QA/QC procedures, ITPs, and method statements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Professional certifications in quality management and auditing are preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in QA/QC, preferably in utilities and infrastructure projects.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively collaborate with project teams and stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of quality control procedures and standards.
• Experience in leading quality inspections and ISO audits (preferred).
• Ability to review and approve contractors' QA/QC procedures, ITPs, and method statements (preferred).
• Proven track record in developing and implementing quality control plans and procedures.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to conduct root cause analysis.
• Proficient in monitoring and reporting on quality performance metrics.
• Up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Professional certifications in quality management and auditing (preferred).
• Must have experience working with supervision consultants.
• Must have full and complete knowledge of existing infrastructure networks in the emirates of Dubai.
• Valid driver's license (preferred).
