Job description / Role

Position Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced QA/QC professional to join our team specializing in fit-out projects. The ideal candidate will ensure that all work meets the highest quality standards and complies with relevant regulations and specifications. You will be responsible for monitoring the quality control procedures and ensuring that all fit-out works, from installation to finishing, are executed as per design and technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conducts and/or participates in Company Quality or Technical compliance audits for Contractors, Sub Contractor, or Vendors.
• Review the contract documents for each Construction stage/phase in respect of QA/QC requirements and procedures and advise the Project Manager of any deficiency.
• Reviews inspection, test, and plan as submitted by the Contractors and ensure compliance with agreement requirements.
• Assures all Technical documents relative to Site Quality Control are current status.
• Attends all activities on site and ensures their compliance with QA/QC procedure in respect of the format signed off by the Contractor’s QA/QC Manager.
• Closely monitor site activities, fully coordinate with PMC discipline engineers, on a daily basis issuing NCRs in case of non-compliance and reporting to the Project Manager in case of shortage of skilled laborers and/or site supervision staff.
• Participates with PMC staff in assessing concession requests and field design changes as submitted by the Contractor.
• Participates with PMC staff in reviewing the Close-out report as submitted by Contractors.
• Coordinates with all disciplines/Contractors for QA/QC.
• Ensures that the Contractor establishes and submits a Project-Specific Quality Plan.
• Maintain and measure the Contractor’s compliance with the Agreement’s Annexure as well as the Technical Specification.
• Coordinates and reports to SR ( PM-CM )
• Checking the Sub-Contractor Pre–Pre-qualification prior to the final submittal
• Preparing Method Statements with ITP as per specifications requirements
• Preparing and checking Material Submittal prior to final submittal.
• Preparing and compiling Project Quality Plan as per project QA/QC requirements
• Ensuring Milestone 1 and 2 will be achieved as per the target schedule
• Prepare Daily QA/QC report
• Prepare Weekly QA/QC report
• Prepare Monthly QA/QC report
• Prepare KPI report for the project
• Joining the Consultants, PMC, Clients, etc. for the weekly quality walk and attending weekly QA/QC meeting
• Plans, organizes, and implements Inspection and Test Plans (ITP) according to project requirements and Consultant / Client specifications
• Responsible for quality control logs, and assist in generating reports as per the contractual requirement or procedure.
• Issuing of NCRs to the concerned department or person and ensuring that the same (NCR) should be closed within the specified time frame.
• Prepares Materials Inspection Requests (MIR) and conducts inspection of raw materials delivered at the site and reviews if the material is in line with the approved material submittal and as per specification requirements.
• Monitors Daily Test Required for Third Party Laboratory as per required stated in the Specifications
• Prepares Method of Statement (MS) for the approval of the Consultant, reviews the Project Inspection Test Plan (ITP), and implements the various approved forms for proper documentation.
• Implements the approved method of the statement prior to the commencement of work immediately.
• Coordinate with another discipline for various technical matters prior to submittal of the Work Inspection Report
• Conducts surveillance and pre-inspection of work to ensure that the executions on site will comply with the approved shop drawings, specifications, material submittals, method of statement, and other requirements.
• Ensures all works are being carried out as per approved Architectural shop drawings.
• Checks and reviews the procedure and quality of works if in accordance with the required standard prior to Consultant’s inspection and approval.
• Attends inspection with the Consultant’s Representative (Client) and transmits the findings to the relevant Department/Engineer for the submitted day-to-day inspection requests.
• Attends QA/QC meetings with regard to NCR and site observation reports.
• Attends NCR and site observation prior to Consultant inspection for approval or closure.
• Issues NCR and site observation report as where required to Subcontractors.

Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a QA/QC Specialist in interior design or construction fit-out projects.
• Strong understanding of quality control processes, building codes, and safety regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify and address quality issues on-site.
• Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and best practices in QA/QC.
• Ability to prepare detailed inspection reports and track non-conformance issues.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with project teams and clients.
• Degree or diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Interior Design, or a related field.
• Certifications in quality management or relevant QA/QC training (preferred).
• Knowledge of construction materials, finishes, and techniques used in interior fit-out projects.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Salary:
AED 9,000 to 13,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
