Job description / Role
QA/QC Inspector - 5 months contract
Job Description:
• Read and understand specifications and Airfield lighting AFL IFC and shop drawings.
• Site installation inspection and testing of secondary Cable, primary Cable, SAT testing, channel/routing check, pit fit out of airfield lighting fittings.
• Installation and Inspection of Induction Loops, Taxiway Guidance Sign boards, Traffic Lights, Manhole.
• Implement the work method Statement, shop drawings regarding IFC drawing.
• Monitoring and inspection of work progress and update comparison to approved drawings.
• Carry out of Material Inspection Request (MIR)
• Assist in the preparation of report for outstanding works and punch list as per site inspection.
• Ensure that all key site events are recorded, with all acceptance and any changes recorded and managed in the appropriate commercial manner.
Working condition:
• Ability to work in various temperatures (e.g., warm, hot, cold,) to complete job tasks
• Willingness to work overtime to complete work assignments and ensure area coverage
Salary:
AED
7,000 to 8,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
Requirements
Knowledge Area - Air Field Lighting System:
• Airfield lighting (AFL) installation procedure – Primary Cable (5KV), Secondary Cable (500V), Sensor Cable, Low Voltage (LV) Cable
• Termination of Airfield lighting cables(Primary and Secondary)
• Pit fit-out Specialist – ASG, Transformer, Earth cable, Earth Rod, Counterpoise C Busbar
• AFL light fitting installation - Sequence Flash Light (SFL), Approach Centreline Light (APH), Runway Centreline Light (RCL), Runway Edge Light (REH), Runway Stopway Light (RSL), Stop Bar Light (STB), Taxiway Lights (TXC)
• Knowledge of Airfield layout drawing
• Knowledge of TGS Installation
Skills, Competencies and Qualification:
• Experience in airfield lighting systems.
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings.
• Diploma/ Degree in Electrical Engineering
Salary Range: AED 6000 - 8000
