QA/QC Manager

Job description / Role

Guildhall is seeking a qualified QA/QC Manager for a leading construction company in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building construction and infrastructure projects. This role is crucial for ensuring that the project meets the highest quality standards and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage QA/QC plans and procedures for construction projects.
- Prepare and oversee inspection schedules to ensure compliance with project specifications and ADQCC standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to monitor quality control processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, test results, and compliance documentation.
- Provide training and guidance to project teams on QA/QC standards and best practices.
- Adapt to flexible work schedules, including the possibility of overtime, to meet project demands.

- Minimum of 8 years of experience in QA/QC management within the construction industry, specifically in building construction and infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of Abu Dhabi's ADQCC standards and regulations.
- Proven ability to prepare and manage QA/QC plans and inspection schedules effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with diverse teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
