QA/QC Manager

Job description / Role

Guildhall is currently supporting a leading international construction and engineering firm on a strategic senior hiring mandate in the UAE. The company operates within the infrastructure and civil engineering sector, delivering large-scale projects across transportation, marine, and urban development. Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement QA/QC plans for infrastructure and building projects.
• Review project drawings, specifications, and method statements for compliance with standards.
• Conduct inspections and audits on-site to ensure quality and safety standards are maintained.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to solve quality-related issues.
• Prepare reports, maintain records, and document non-conformance issues.
• Monitor subcontractors’ work to ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure all materials and workmanship meet approved quality standards.
• Lead and train QA/QC team members, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of QA/QC experience in infrastructure and building projects.
• Strong knowledge of international construction standards and codes (ISO, ASTM, BS, etc.).
• Experience in civil works and building structures.
• Excellent report writing and documentation skills.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred:
• Previous experience in multi-million AED infrastructure or building projects.
• Ability to manage budgets and coordinate large multidisciplinary teams.
