Job description / Role
- To liaise with construction team to ensure all inspection and testing requirements are fulfilled and work quality is achieved in order to meet client’s requirement as per the contract.
- To liaise with client’s representative on site to ensure that all inspection and testing requirements are fulfilled and completed and to ensure the work quality is achieved in order to meet client’s requirement as per the contract.
- To ensure all records are completed and compiled for submission to client with regards to completed work quality in order to meet client’s requirement as per contract.
- To liaise with construction team to ensure quality of products/supplies/services by subcontractors meet the specified requirement at source with regard to completed work quality in order to meet client’s requirement as per the contract.
- To assist the construction team to prepare the method of statements and ITPs according to the specifications and standard in order to meet client’s requirement as per the contract.
- To prepare the project quality plan in order to establish a system so that all activities come under agreed procedure.
- To monitor the QC Inspectors & Document controller in order to achieve the works according to specifications and standards.
- To ensure the closure of NCR”S and get the approval from the consultant in order to meet the client requirement and quality plan.
Requirements
- 5 years’ experience working as a QA QC Engineer for a Contractor, Subcontractor, etc.
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- Familiar with QA QC Standards
- Fluent in English, written and spoken.
- Must have communication, leadership and planning skills.
