QAQC Engineer

Job description / Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QAQC Engineer to join our team in the UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring quality assurance and quality control standards are met throughout all phases of our projects, maintaining compliance with industry regulations, and promoting continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain Quality Assurance and Quality Control procedures and systems.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
- Coordinate with project teams to uphold quality standards and address any quality-related issues promptly.
- Prepare and review quality documentation, reports, and non-conformance records.
- Assist in the investigation and resolution of quality problems or defects.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards during all quality control activities.
- Collaborate with suppliers and contractors to verify the quality of materials and workmanship.

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience as a QAQC Engineer, preferably in the UAE or Middle East region.
- 6 to 9 Years with API 653 and Tank Refurbishment Experience
- Strong knowledge of quality standards, methodologies, and regulatory requirements relevant to the construction or engineering industry.
- Familiarity with quality management systems and inspection tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high quality standards.
- Certification in Quality Management (ISO 9001) or relevant professional qualifications is a plus.
