QAQC Manager

Job description / Role

Guildhall is hiring a QA/QC Manager for a major contractor delivering landmark building developments in the region. The QA/QC Manager will be responsible for establishing, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance and quality control systems for large-scale building projects. The role focuses on ensuring that all civil and structural works meet contractual, technical, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the Project Quality Management Plan
- Establish QA/QC procedures, inspection and test plans (ITPs), and quality documentation
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and applicable standards
- Coordinate inspections, audits, and quality reviews with consultants and clients
- Manage material approvals, method statements, and inspection records
- Identify non-conformances and ensure effective corrective and preventive actions
- Support project teams in achieving high-quality delivery across all construction stages

- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 10+ years of QA/QC experience on large-scale building projects
- Strong background in major building construction, including concrete, steel, and finishing works
- Airport related project experience or large public building experience is highly preferred
- Experience working with main contractors on complex, fast-track projects
- Familiarity with international standards (ISO, ASTM, BS, etc.)
- Strong documentation, reporting, and coordination skills
